Seeking a Territory Sales Manager responsible for growing agency relationships to increase profit of GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products within an assigned area. Oversees the development and execution of policies that cater to increasing agency relationships.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospects, interviews, and approval of new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
  2. Manage agents within a designated area of responsibility using in-person visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage agency performance. Implements policies and procedures of the agency program.
  3. Takes national strategic initiatives and translates them into local goals and objectives; GAINS commitment and holds agents accountable for execution.
  4. Monitors the performance of agents in relation to goals, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. Counsels agents, and with leadership support, takes disciplinary action of agents up to and including termination when needed.
