This role is a Territory Sales Manager for National General Insurance, an Allstate company. The primary responsibility is to manage independent insurance agents within an assigned market to exceed new business production, premium, and loss ratio goals. This involves positioning insurance products, developing strategic business plans with agencies, analyzing production data, and acting as a company liaison within the market. What you'd actually do

  1. Positions and promotes full suite of National General Insurance products into Independent Agency Partners to include, multiple personal auto products, homeowners, commercial vehicle, flood, and recreational vehicle & key focus on Specialty Vehicle & Household package coverages (based on state availability
  2. Delivers on the business unit’s annual execution plan (growth, profitability, agency engagement, new appointments) for their market with focus on Specialty Vehicle & Household package coverages under the guidance of a Regional Sales Manager and/or Director
  3. Key company liaison within assigned market to both independent agencies and industry associations and must be field facing 4 days per week, driving key business initiatives, maintaining accurate records of these sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in CRM software
  4. Collaborates with IAs to assist with creation of agency-specific short term and long-term strategic business plans, periodically reviews and suggests adjustments as necessary to achieve results
  5. Role uses full suite of production data and reporting to identify trends, capitalize on opportunity and regularly address agency level performance including training / skill gap to execute on business plan
