Territory Sales Manager (ohio) - Insurance Experience Is Required

Seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive agency relationships and increase profit for GEICO and affiliated products within an assigned area. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing agents, implementing policies, monitoring performance, and delivering training.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospects, interviews, and approves new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
  2. Manage agents within a designated area of responsibility using in person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage agency performance. Implements policies and procedures of the agency program.
  3. Takes national strategic initiatives and translates them into local goals and objectives; GAINS commitment and holds agents accountable for execution.
  4. Monitors the performance of agents in relation to goals, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. Counsels’ agents, and with leadership support, takes disciplinary action of agents up to and including termination.
