Sales Representative role focused on promoting and selling Cardiometabolic health products to healthcare professionals, driving sales growth, and building client relationships within a specific territory. What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  2. Identify and establish new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  3. Develop a detailed territory action plan for the portfolio by making strategic decisions about goals. Monitor and measure the plan.
  4. Establish and uphold effective and ethical interactions with stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and other medical staff.
  5. Effectively communicate the value proposition and therapeutic benefits of Lilly medicines to healthcare professionals using Value Based Selling Principles and by using aids provided by Marketing.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar role, minimum 2-5 years.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of compliance and ethical standards within the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of external ethics code.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Diabetes and metabolic therapeutic areas and product segment is preferred.
  • New launch experience preferred
  • MNC experience preferred
