Test Engineer role focused on manual and automated testing of wearable patient monitoring products, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance. What you'd actually do

  1. Execute manual testing activities for patient monitoring systems, with a strong focus on system-level validation and real-world usage scenarios.
  2. Support and develop test automation using Python and Robot Framework.
  3. Support system installations, setups, and maintenance of test environments, including troubleshooting of IT servers, networking, and related infrastructure.
  4. Investigate failures, collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders, and help drive quality issues to resolution.
  5. Translate product requirements into practical test scenarios and test execution plans.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development, with strong interest in hands-on manual testing.
  • Good understanding of how to test complex systems involving both software and hardware.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues in environments involving embedded systems, Linux, servers, networking, and system configurations.
  • Proficient in AI-assisted development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • EU work permit required

Nice to have

  • Experience testing medical devices, patient monitoring systems, or other regulated products.
  • Experience in test automation with Python and Robot Framework.
  • Experience with Git, code review tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Linux and basic shell usage.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
