Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for developing, dry running, and executing automated and manual test procedures to verify software requirements. The role involves managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, coordinating resources, driving process rigor, and leading system test engineers in developing test procedures within Agile Scrum teams. The position requires a strong background in project management, engineering and test, IT and cyber controls, and network architecture, with an active Top Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the execution of IFC efforts in a highly dynamic lab environment.
  2. Coordinating with EI&E department manager providing timely resource forecasts to ensure proper staffing is in place to execute the SOW(s)
  3. Driving process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and security requirements
  4. Managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple program SOWs to include personnel resource planning
  5. Manage a team of System Test engineers; providing System Test process guidance during all phases of integration, procedure development, dry runs and formal execution.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related field
  • 9 years of related engineering experience (or Master's/7 yrs, PhD/5 yrs)
  • Project management experience
  • Engineering and test experience
  • IT and cyber controls experience
  • Network architecture experience
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Active USG Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access

Nice to have

  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Active USG Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working in hardware/software integration and test laboratories or field testing or data center style server rooms
