Boeing is seeking a Mid-Level Test Support Pilot to join their Flight Operations team in Seattle, WA. The role involves flying light support aircraft for Commercial, Military, and Development programs, assisting in acceptance, ferry, and functional test flights, and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing on configuration and safety.

What you'd actually do

  1. Primary role - Fly as a single or dual pilot in the execution of aircrew movements with light support aircraft, Cessna Caravan, Pilatus PC-12 and others to support offsite production and engineering flight operations
  2. Secondary role - May participate in acceptance, ferry and functional test flights on testbed aircraft
  3. Assists Engineering in the planning of project flight profiles
  4. Demonstrates testbed acceptance process to validate configuration compliance; contributes to project configuration and safety review
  5. Coordinates with Engineering, Manufacturing and Airworthiness personnel on certification efforts to ensure design integrity

Skills

Required

  • Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements or military equivalent
  • Single Engine Turbo-prop experience
  • Aircrew experience
  • Experience working with Flight Test
  • 1000 flight hours
  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
