Therapeutic Area Manager, Medical Information Scientific Engagement

This role focuses on engaging healthcare professionals in scientific dialogue, developing materials for medical information requests, and analyzing customer insights within the pharmaceutical industry. It involves handling inquiries, creating patient scientific content, providing escalation support, and conducting scientific training.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensures high quality, personalized, cross-portfolio scientific engagement with all customers to demonstrate product and disease area expertise. Provides timely, accurate, thorough, and balanced scientific responses to unsolicited requests for information from internal and external customers consistent with regulatory guidelines and documentation standards with the Customer Relationship Management database. Conducts literature analysis as needed.
  2. Leads the development and maintenance of scientific content for patients for assigned therapeutic area products including patient content for established products
  3. Leads response creation for US escalated one-off inquiries within assigned therapeutic area
  4. Supports product and disease state-related scientific training
  5. Analyzes Voice of Customer data and identifies actionable insights to share with MISE leaders and internal partners to champion unmet data gap needs to accurately represent the voice of our most important stakeholder, our customers

Skills

Required

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare field or pharmaceutical industry, typically 1-4 years
  • Ability to engage in rich clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals
  • Experience in conducting literature analysis
  • Ability to build on existing clinical foundation in pursuit of expertise in relevant therapeutic areas
  • Skilled in managing complexity and ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners/teams
  • Qualified to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills
