This role is for a Third-Party Logistics Specialist at RTX, responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics execution and contract oversight of strategic Third-Party Logistics (3PL) suppliers. The specialist will manage logistics activities in the Northeast Region, ensuring warehousing performance aligns with KPIs, identifying process improvements, monitoring contract compliance, and serving as the primary liaison between 3PL and Raytheon.

What you'd actually do

  1. Overseeing Third-Party Logistics warehousing execution and driving process improvement opportunities through lean manufacturing concepts and principles
  2. Serving as key liaison between Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon factory and program offices
  3. Lead highly complex Third-Party Logistics outbound customer deliveries.
  4. Oversee Third-Party Logistics compliance to contract requirements.
  5. Coordinate and manger outbound customer orders.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience working within a factory, warehouse or in a Third-Party Logistics environment.
  • Experience in leadership or management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice to have

  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • Data Analytics experience
  • SAP/WMS/ERP Knowledge in Logistics
  • Domestic/International shipping experience.
  • DFAR/ITAR/ DD-250/AS9100 Experience.
  • WAAF/PIEE/SIR Experience.
  • Familiar with Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for customers
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in high paced complex environment with multiple competing internal and external customers.
