Marketing Lead for Apple TV Scripted Series, responsible for developing and executing culturally resonant, audience-first marketing strategies and go-to-market plans. This role involves leading title teams, driving creative briefs, positioning, and strategy, and overseeing multi-media creative asset execution across paid, owned, and earned initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external partners, including EPs/Showrunners, talent, agencies, and various Apple teams, to ensure alignment with series positioning and Apple branding. Key responsibilities include managing campaign workflows, tactical execution, prioritizing resources, communicating timelines, and identifying brand partnerships and cross-company promotions. The role requires extensive experience in consumer marketing within the media/entertainment industry, with a focus on drama genre series, and a strong understanding of 360-degree campaigns, media strategy, and digital-first approaches.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead title teams as the strategic visionary and campaign quarterback driving creative briefs, positioning and strategy for high-profile Series.
  2. Drive campaigns forward with key partners including development, current, producers/creators, filmmakers and show runners.
  3. Assist in internal and external partner execution of multi-media creative assets that extend our content across paid, owned and earned initiatives.
  4. Ensure materials are aligned to series positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points.
  5. Support cross-functional team planning across campaigns by participating in key meetings, presentations, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals.

What the JD emphasized

  • Minimum 10-12 years in consumer marketing experience across media/entertainment, preferably for Drama genre series
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting robust portfolio of creatively led 360- campaigns, from strategy to executing the tactics
