Trade Compliance Analyst responsible for executing Peloton’s Customs policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with US CBP and Canada CBSA regulations. This role involves overseeing Customs brokers, managing import tariff payments, and maintaining 'reasonable care' controls. The analyst will conduct audits, assign HTS Classifications, assist with duty drawback programs, maintain recordkeeping, perform Denied Party Screening, and monitor trade compliance developments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee, measure and audit the accuracy and timeliness of Peloton’s global Customs brokers in the US & Canada, with occasional support provided to Peloton’s UK, German and Australian markets
  2. Conduct regular audits of Peloton’s import data and duty payments, utilizing CBP’s ACE and CBSA’s CARM portals
  3. Assign global Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications for Peloton’s new SKUs and product lines
  4. Assist in the execution of Peloton’s duty drawback and value reconciliation programs
  5. Maintain timely and complete Customs recordkeeping for Peloton’s global imports and exports

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience working for an importer, Customs broker and/or trade consultancy
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Customs regulations (including recent US tariff stacking rules), the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and CBP’s duty drawback and value reconciliation programs
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross functionally across a variety of internal stakeholders, external service providers and global teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Excel

Nice to have

  • Customs Broker License
  • Experience with ThomsonReuters ONESOURCE GTM
