This role focuses on optimizing digital advertising campaigns using data analysis and platform expertise. The Trading Analyst will translate data signals into actionable strategies to drive client growth and provide data-driven insights to clients and internal teams. The role also involves collaborating with Product Management to define features and drive platform enhancements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Master The Trade Desk platform and become the go-to-expert on campaign management best practices
  2. Drive client growth by owning optimization strategies for your assigned portfolio — translating complex data signals into actions that directly grow your clients' business
  3. Combine data analysis and client feedback to create optimization strategies and provide the most effective solutions for campaigns
  4. Partner cross-functionally with Account Management and Business Development to provide support to clients, including onboarding and optimization training
  5. Be the strategic voice that proactively advises clients and internal teams using data-driven insights from trading optimizations

Skills

Required

  • Bilingual fluency in Japanese & English
  • 3-5 years of working experience in a data-driven role (programmatic, analytics, ad operations or similar)
  • Excellent client facing & management experience
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic mindset
  • Strong story-telling skills
  • Advanced MS Excel / data visualization skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
