This role is for a Trading Services Specialist at Jump Trading, focusing on client onboarding, platform operations, and collaboration with various teams to enhance client experience in financial markets. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the entire client onboarding process including connectivity, session setup, conformance testing, and pilot trades.
  2. Monitor and resolve production issues to ensure a seamless client trading experience.
  3. Collaborate with developer and production reliability engineer teams to identify workflow and system issues, document/prioritize tickets, and deliver solutions.
  4. Partner with trading, product, and sales teams to turn client requests into actionable roadmap items.
  5. Create and maintain clear up-to-date documentation that enables team-wide knowledge sharing.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, client-facing trading environment.
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience working with trading systems, order entry protocols, market data protocols, troubleshooting technical issues and providing production support.
  • Strong understanding of the client onboarding lifecycle, including FIX protocol, conformance testing, and network routing.
  • Product expertise in at least one asset class (e.g., FX, CFDs, equities, fixed income).
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and complete technical projects.
  • Experience with data analysis using tools like Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL, or KDB+.
  • Flexibility to collaborate across time zones, including occasional off-hours work.
