What you'd actually do

  1. Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including manufacturing operations, equipment handling, and process-related activities.
  2. Support equipment operation within the manufacturing area to meet output, quality, and safety goals.
  3. Learn to conduct maintenance and repair activities on manufacturing equipment under supervision and as part of structured training.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process issues and support defect reduction initiatives.
  5. Use technical manuals, specifications, drawings, diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.

Skills

Required

  • Pursuing a relevant technical qualification in an approved Science or Engineering discipline (NFQ Level 6/7)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work proactively and with minimal supervision as skills develop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to follow procedures closely
