Work You’ll Do
As a Project Delivery Senior Analyst on the project, you will:
- Develop, interpret, and oversee defense-wide transportation policies and regulatory frameworks
- Apply deep technical knowledge of the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and defense Transportation and Traffic Management policies.
- Support senior leaders in commercial transportation industry engagement and collaborate with senior leaders across defense, OMB, NSC, and other federal agencies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of transportation functions and recommend actions to enhance military effectiveness, economy, and uniformity across operations.
- Conduct data analysis, reporting, and category management to inform decision-making and improve efficiency.
- Research industry best practices and recommend process improvements to reduce redundancy and costs.

Qualifications
Required**:**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- 5+ years of experience in defense transportation policies, directives, and regulations, including the Defense Transportation Regulation
- Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, VA up to 5 days/week (typical week 2–3 days on-site)
Preferred:
Experience with Maritime Administration (MARAD), Military Sealift Command (MSC), and Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) operations
1+ years of experience in sealift operations
Experience with VISA, VTA, Transportation Service Providers (TSP), and Maritime Security Program (MSP)
Experience with charter, commercial, and organic sealift requirements
Experience interpreting the Jones Act and cargo preference as related to sealift requirements
Experience in defense transportation management requirements and compliance
