Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. In this role, you will analyze User feedback to identify opportunities of improving Policy enforcement on Google Ads. We value User and implement solutions to improve coverage, extract value for the feedback (i.e., Enforcement leads and opportunities to improve our policy coverage, Large Language Models (LLMs)/models to identify opportunities) and build solutions to make user accessible to product and enforcement.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analyses to derive insights that help identify and fight abuse across our products.
- Own technical implementation of production-level pipelines, documentation, check-in process, etc.
- Use technical judgement to drive project delivery, challenge proposals and identify risks. Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope against crashed timelines.
- Collaborate with other teams and functions: product, legal, sales, cross-fucntional teams, Policy, among many others.
- Improve tools through data analysis, technical expertise, and presentations to key stakeholders. Enhance our operational workflows via process improvements and identification of automation opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience working with SQL, coLaboratory, Python.
- Experience in data analysis and working with datasets or LLMs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
