This role focuses on building and scaling Trust & Safety Operations for OpenAI's Ads product. It involves designing and implementing operational workflows, enforcement processes, and tooling to ensure the safe and sustainable growth of advertising, leveraging AI-first solutions and AI models/agent-based tooling. The role requires partnering with various teams to translate risk and policy requirements into scalable systems and automation, and using data to identify trends and risks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own complex, high-impact Ads Trust & Safety problem areas from strategy through execution.
  2. Design and scale operational workflows for Ads Trust & Safety, including enforcement models, review processes, escalation paths, and quality frameworks
  3. Partner closely with Product, Policy, and Engineering to translate risk and policy requirements into scalable systems, tooling, and automation.
  4. Improve the end-to-end enforcement and advertiser support funnel through frontline enablement, clearer escalation paths, and automation
  5. Act as a key point of contact across internal teams and external partners, providing clear updates on risk, enforcement, and product feedback

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Monetization or Ads policy Operations, Trust & Safety, Business Integrity, Risk Operations, or a closely related domain.
  • Deep familiarity with ads ecosystems and advertiser risk
  • In-depth experience leveraging AI models or agent-based tooling in operational and support workflows
  • Proven ability to independently own ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive them to completion.
  • Strong operational judgment and systems thinking—able to design solutions that scale beyond manual review.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Policy, Engineering, Sales and Legal teams on enforcement systems, tooling, or automation.
  • Comfort using data and operational metrics to inform decisions, prioritize work, and measure impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex risk tradeoffs as well as policy to diverse audiences.
  • Can translate ambiguous risk signals into structured inputs for detection systems, including taxonomy design, labeling guidance, quality standards, and feedback loops
  • Strong judgment around quality, safeguards, and responsible deployment
