Johnson & Johnson is seeking a U.S. Sr Marketing Mgr. for their VELYS Knee robotic-assisted solution. This role involves leading the downstream commercialization strategy, go-to-market planning for new releases, and optimizing the performance of the installed base. The manager will work cross-functionally with sales, field marketing, R&D, and surgeon customers to drive adoption, utilization, and retention. The role also includes leading a team of marketing managers and representing the platform at key industry events. Experience in joint reconstruction, medical devices, and MedTech capital equipment is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and execute the downstream commercialization strategy for the VELYS Knee platform in the U.S., including positioning, messaging, segmentation, and customer adoption plans.
  2. Lead go-to-market planning and launch excellence for software and hardware releases, ensuring field readiness (tools, training, communications) and clear success metrics.
  3. Optimize performance of the installed base by developing programs that drive utilization, improve customer experience, and strengthen retention across key segments and accounts.
  4. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Field Marketing, Global Education, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, and R&D to remove adoption barriers and deliver a differentiated user experience.
  5. Lead and develop a team of marketing managers; set priorities, coach performance, and ensure disciplined execution across multiple initiatives.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing, product management, and/or product introduction experience
  • Bachelor's degree
