Sales Manager for AWS Central Sales Startup EMEA, responsible for building and managing a team of Central Sales Representatives. The team will focus on driving adoption and consumption of AWS services within the startup ecosystem by collaborating with specialist and technical functions.

What you'd actually do

  1. As a manager for the Startup Central Sales team you will build a high impact and diverse team of Central Sales Representatives who are responsible for teaming with specialist and technical functions to deploy startup specific account management.
  2. You will manage career growth and development of the team, coach the team on performance, sales planning, operations, pipeline management and strategy.
  3. Your team will help to grow the consumption of current and new AWS services across prospects/customers in the Startup space.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in Sales Management of technology-related sales or comparable business development
  • 10+ years of sales experience including 5+ years of managing a team minimum
  • Ability to coach team on sales including pipeline management, deal coaching and best practices
  • Strong and demonstrated experience in working with diverse customer stakeholders from senior leadership, founders and technical teams in customers
  • Actively take up stretch assignments for the function and segment at an EMEA level.

Nice to have

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS and a management degree like MBA
  • Domain experience with the startup eco-system and cloud
  • Experience building new teams/products/functions
