The US Medical Director for RSV adult vaccines will support the US Medical Affairs Lead in developing and executing strategic medical and scientific activities. This role requires experience in designing, evaluating, interpreting, and presenting real-world evidence, with strong skills in data visualization and presentation tools to translate complex analysis into meaningful insights. The incumbent will also develop and deliver presentations, webinars, and other communication outlets, and provide medical expertise to cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing and executing medical education strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams, providing vaccine medical expertise, managing KOL activities, and reviewing medical education grants.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute a medical education strategy supporting RSV Adult vaccination in the US
  2. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of medical education and engagement plan across various channels with medical priorities
  3. Provide vaccine medical expertise and support on behalf of the US Medical Affairs team to cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment of internal communications and training around new and key scientific data on RSV
  4. Partner cross-functionally within medical to ensure aligned KOLs activities to gather feedback and input into strategy development and execution
  5. Provide medical review for medical education grants

Skills

Required

  • Advanced degree and relevant experience in vaccines/infectious diseases/public health/epidemiology (e.g., PhD/DrPH; PharmD with 5+ years) or 7+ years of relevant experience with MBA/MS or 8+ years of relevant experience with BA/BS
  • Ability to review, evaluate, interpret, and clearly present complex data; translate complex scientific information into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration; ability to influence, succeed through others, and operate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Project/program management skills; ability to manage projects to completion and deliver high-quality work within timelines
  • Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels, including, but not limited to, live and virtual presentations in small or large settings, and written communication
  • Experience with medical education strategy development and delivery across multiple channels (including active learning modalities).
  • Experience developing and executing key medical activities such as congress strategies and expert advisory boards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including scientific writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice to have
