US Payroll Manager

Oversees end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing, compliance with labor laws and tax requirements, and managing a payroll team. Responsibilities include managing payroll transactions in Oracle-cloud, integrations, cost accounting reconciliation, and reporting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end processing of payroll for all U.S. employees, including salary, hourly, bonus, and other special payments.
  2. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to tax laws, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll, taxes (W-2s), and employee deductions.
  3. Data Accuracy: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues related to pay slips, direct deposits, leaves, timekeeping, overtime/shift premiums, benefit/contribution deductions, and/or tax withholdings.
  4. Systems Management: Design and maintain payroll systems, including timekeeping, data entry processes, and payroll inbound and outbound integrations.
  5. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, train, and mentor a team of payroll specialists.

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience (12+ years of payroll experience)
