Johnson & Johnson is seeking a US Senior Demand Planning Analyst to lead the US demand Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This role involves demand planning in alignment with business planning, understanding inventory strategy, and achieving key performance indicators like forecast accuracy and customer service. Responsibilities include chairing S&OP/IBP meetings, managing forecasts for assigned products using statistical software, collaborating with various functions to incorporate market intelligence, and developing execution plans for new product introductions. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience, and hands-on experience with inventory, planning, order management, ERP/MRP systems, or financial processes. Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills are essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Chair US Demand S&OP/IBP Meetings and other applicable forums.
  2. Lead demand planning activities for assigned products by ensuring excellent integrity of both demand and forecast data.
  3. Manage assigned implant/instrument forecasts in a high SKU environment using statistical software and new product modeling.
  4. Responsible for achieving forecast accuracy targets (MAPE & BIAS) and driving continuous improvements in this area.
  5. Review statistical forecast generated and provide input on changes that may be required. Collaborate with functions such as Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance to identify and incorporate market intelligence (events) into the demand forecast as aligned.
