Product Manager III at Walmart responsible for defining features, performance targets, and readiness for compliance and licensing for VIZIO Audio products. What you'd actually do

  1. Define product behavior and performance goals; write feature PRDs and detailed specifications for ODMs, chipset vendors, and QA.
  2. Build and maintain roadmaps, specs, and executive-ready documentation and presentations.
  3. Drive specification projects end-to-end, aligning stakeholders on timelines, dependencies, and progress reporting.
  4. Lead ODM technical design reviews to clarify feasibility, tradeoffs, and execution plans.
  5. Support compliance and technology licensing programs; test hardware/firmware and provide feedback and approvals.

Skills

Required

  • Hardware product management experience in Audio consumer electronics or adjacent domains
  • Ability to produce precise PRDs/specs and translate technical detail for executives and cross-functional partners
  • Familiarity with modern CE audio ecosystems (SoC, BT/Wi‑Fi chipsets), offshore ODM development, and QA validation
  • Strong program/project management across multiple workstreams using tools like JIRA and Confluence

Nice to have

  • Exposure to regulatory/safety standards (e.g., FCC, UL/IEC) and/or licensing programs (e.g., HDMI, Dolby/DTS, Wi‑Fi/BT)
  • Merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
  • Microsoft Office tools (for example, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
