What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, mentor, and grow multiple TV software engineering teams that write applications on a Linux environment, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  2. Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent; conduct performance management and career development conversations.
  3. Drive engineering excellence through code quality, testing, documentation, and operational best practices.
  4. Define and execute the engineering roadmap for the middleware capabilities within the ViziOS software stack, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
  5. Provide architectural direction for scalable, modular, and secure applications across platforms.

Skills

Required

  • 10-15 years of software development experience
  • strong hands-on in C++ on a Linux OS
  • 8+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs or initiatives
  • Experience working with SoC vendors, ODMs and prototyping iteratively based on new technology
  • Strong analytical capability with a track record of using data, KPIs, and insights to influence direction and drive results
  • Deep commitment to ethical leadership, transparency, compliance, and servant leadership principles
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence across levels
  • Proven ability to manage complexity, create clarity, solve ambiguous problems, and drive continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
