What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to identify, prioritize, and implement speed improvement initiatives across stores and fulfillment centers.
  2. Analyze the impact of network and performance changes on customer experience, using data to quantify improvements in speed, reliability, and satisfaction.
  3. Build financial models to evaluate the business value of current and future initiatives, ensuring alignment with Walmart’s executive priorities.
  4. Collaborate with field operations teams to validate real-world impacts of speed improvements and identify additional optimization opportunities.
  5. Ensure strong stakeholder alignment through regular communication, updates, and executive-ready presentations on progress and results.

Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams
  • Financial acumen, with experience building business cases, forecasting impact, and evaluating ROI
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI)
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area. OR 6 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
