USAF E-7A Mission Systems Radar and EWSP Engineer (Experienced or Lead)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Organization is seeking a **USAF E-7A Mission Systems Radar and Electronic Warfare Self-Protection (EWSP) Engineer (Experienced or Lead) **to join the Mission Systems team in Tukwila, WA.
The Mission Systems team is responsible for the design, development, procurement, and integration of the full Mission Systems capability on the E-7 aircraft. Specifically, this role will support the EWSP capability on the aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subsystem Equipment Manager for part of the aircraft mission system, including responsibility for procurement and integration activities.
- Plan and execute testing and validation to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Manage supplier technical relationships with both external (commercial and government) and internal suppliers.
- Solve problems that emerge during test and production of the aircraft.
- Provide onsite support to integration activities in labs and at aircraft modification sites in the Continental US and overseas.
- Support system development for the next generation of Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tukwila, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years experience in avionics, communication equipment or other electronics systems integration or development
- 3+ years experience working across cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
- 3+ years experience with developing, managing and working with complex system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working as an avionics or electronics equipment manager or working with the FAA to qualify equipment
- Hardware qualification or laboratory test experience
- Experience working with the United States Department of Defense (DOD) or foreign armed services as a customer
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Summary pay range:
Experienced: $119,850 - $162,150
Lead: $146,200 - $197,800
