Responsibilities
- Work in an agile environment, managing multiple research projects simultaneously.
- Build relationships and communicate insights effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds.
- Adapt work schedules to collaborate across global time zones and support high-volume research periods.
- Design and execute appropriate research methods to address key questions.
- Conduct end-to-end research in a lean environment, including study design, recruitment, execution, and analysis.
- Perform primary and secondary research, synthesizing insights from multiple data sources.
- Quickly develop understanding of complex product spaces and user needs.
- Identify and prioritize critical research questions that support key business decisions.
- Present and advocate research insights to influence product strategy and stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined academic (social sciences or business) and industry research (market, UX, or consumer research), such as a PhD with 1+ year industry experience, Master’s with 2+ years, or Bachelor’s with 3+ years.
- Experience leading full research cycles including problem definition, study design, recruitment, data collection, analysis, reporting, and strategy development.
- Experience in usability evaluation (e.g., A/B testing, heuristic evaluation, card sorting, task analysis) and large-scale asynchronous research such as diary or longitudinal studies, including creative recruitment of niche audiences.
- Experience researching software and hardware products, understanding the product design lifecycle, and conducting research across diverse geographies with attention to internationalization and localization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in one or more sectors such as consumer electronics (especially AV/VR), physical consumer products or durable goods, or applied artificial intelligence.
- Human Factors research experience.
- Knowledge of ergonomics and perceptual assessment methods.
- Experience with anthropometric evaluation and user-centered product testing.

Placement in the range depends on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location.
