Utilities Operator (night Shift)

Eli Lilly is seeking a Utilities Operator for their new Gene Therapy manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Indiana. This role is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted generation and distribution of utility services (gray, clean, and plant utilities) to support manufacturing operations. The position involves operating and maintaining various utility systems, adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements (cGMP), and collaborating with other teams during startup and post-startup phases. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure utility operations maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times
  2. Ensure utility areas appropriately support the execution of the production plan for the site
  3. Utility Operator Systems: Boilers, Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, Compressed Air, Bio Waste, Reverse Osmosis, WFI distillation, and Clean Steam systems
  4. Carry out daily monitoring testing and cleaning duties as assigned on the above listed systems to ensure equipment and systems are in good operating conditions and they are maintained in accordance with local and corporate regulatory requirements
  5. Understand Health, Safety & Environmental-regulated environment and application of Health & Safety/Process Safety standards in order to execute key/critical cGMP duties

Skills

Required

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with utilities/maintenance processes
