UX Researcher focused on understanding user behavior and interactions with products, utilizing a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate insights, evaluate designs, and contribute to product development. While not directly building AI, the role requires integrating AI tools into workflows, adhering to ethical AI practices, and developing AI skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics
  2. Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, while advocating for the people who could use our products
  3. Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods
  4. Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
  5. Work independently and autonomously

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research and/or product research and development or a Master’s degree and 8+ years relevant experience, or PhD and 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience conducting In-Depth Interviews or Focus Groups and Concept Testing or Usability Testing
  • Interest in and experience executing hands-on, primary research
  • Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives
  • Degrees in a human behavior related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics
  • Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
