Vercel is seeking a Majors Vercel Development Representative (VDR) for their APAC Sales team. This role focuses on building pipeline for large companies by engaging potential customers, researching prospects, and tailoring outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders. The VDR will qualify inbound leads, generate outbound opportunities, and collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to drive product adoption. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or support role for a technical product, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for web development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and engage high-potential companies that could benefit from Vercel’s platform
  2. Research prospects and tailor outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders
  3. Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound opportunities through personalized outreach
  4. Partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and drive adoption in the Majors segment
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
