Velocity Account Executive (dach)

This role is for a Velocity Account Executive at Amplitude, an AI analytics platform. The AE will drive new business acquisition for SMB and Mid-Market customers in the DACH region, focusing on converting inbound leads and free-tier users to paying customers, as well as managing existing accounts for expansion and retention. The role involves full-cycle sales, prospecting, and building relationships through in-person engagement and travel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own full-cycle sales – from prospecting and discovery to closing and onboarding.
  2. Focus on net new customer acquisition within the DACH SMB and Mid-Market segments.
  3. Develop Amplitude’s brand and community across the German-speaking ecosystem, especially among product, growth, and data teams.
  4. Build relationships with prospective and current SMB and Mid-Market customers through regular in-person engagement—monthly travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is required.
  5. Collaborate closely with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure a seamless experience across the customer journey.
