Vendor Manager for Amazon Canada Hardlines, responsible for managing vendor relationships, driving profitability, and improving selection and convenience for customers. The role involves strategic brand management, contract negotiations, inventory optimization, and analytical deep dives to inform category growth strategies. While not directly building AI, the role requires understanding how generative AI can enhance products and workflows and using AI tools to improve efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading key categories and brand relationships for Amazon.ca and driving growth of the business.
  2. Building strong vendor and brand relationships, contract negotiations, selection and catalog, inventory optimization, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
  3. As the P&L owner, you will also work cross functionally with other product, marketing, and operations teams across Amazon to raise the bar on customer experience.
  4. Execute analytical deeps dives that help inform category growth strategies and initiatives.
  5. Drive performance for our Amazon.ca vendor partners.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of with Excel experience
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Project and stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Quantitative analytics
