Vendor Manager for Amazon Canada Hardlines responsible for managing vendor relationships, driving profitability and topline performance for their category, and optimizing product line performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. leading key categories and brand relationships for Amazon.ca and driving growth of the business
  2. building strong vendor and brand relationships, contract negotiations, selection and catalog, inventory optimization, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca
  3. As the P&L owner, you will also work cross functionally with other product, marketing, and operations teams across Amazon to raise the bar on customer experience
  4. execute analytical deeps dives that help inform category growth strategies and initiatives

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of with Excel experience
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
