This role is a Vendor Solutions Consultant for Marketing within Google Cloud. The primary focus is on transforming outsourced marketing programs into highly automated, high-velocity engines by embedding an AI-first approach, designing governance frameworks, and reshaping vendor workflows. The role involves co-creating next-generation marketing workflows, scoping and embedding GenAI tools, and driving operational efficiency and scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting for business support solutions (pitch, proposal, demos, POCs, helpdesk, etc.).
  2. Architect outsourced models with regional leaders and redesign partner workflows to unlock efficiency.
  3. Partner as a trusted advisor with global executive leaders (AMER, APAC, EMEA) to ensure alignment. Manage complex relationships with Sales/Marketing leaders.
  4. Scope and embed GenAI tools and advanced tech stacks into the vendor ecosystem to drive automation.
  5. Run strategic initiatives globally and provide leadership with data-driven insights on business and cost impact. Monitor operational and compliance risks within vendor operations.

Skills

Required

  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in vendor management and vendor agreements.
  • 8 years of experience working in leading global vendor operations in technology companies or in management consulting.
  • Experience in technology selling/consulting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Experience in project/program management and operations.

Nice to have

  • Experience in prompt developing, model evaluation, and the creative application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Strong understanding of modern commercial models, with experience creating outcome-based or gain-share statements of work (SOWs).
  • Proven track record in an operational consulting or client-facing advisory role, with success in influencing senior executives and driving large-scale change management.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a matrixed, global environment.
