This role focuses on leading the strategy and transformation of Google Cloud Support's vendor operations, aiming to scale effectively and flexibly. It involves managing a global ecosystem of vendor partners, driving performance, and ensuring quality of service, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance deliverables.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the evolution of distributed vendor networks into high-velocity, automated support engines across all sites and products to accelerate agility and workflow transformation.
  2. Serve as a consultant and ally to partners and Google Cloud teams, owning end-to-end service delivery to drive exceptional customer outcomes.
  3. Design smart frameworks using data-driven approaches to maximize efficiency, and drive next-generation business reviews focused on accelerating performance beyond baseline targets.
  4. Orchestrate complex initiatives across a global matrix of cross-functional stakeholders, partnering with executives to execute visionary operational roadmaps and support exponential scale.
  5. Influence without authority to co-create with partners, embedding cutting-edge tools and resolving strategic escalation challenges to ensure ecosystem health.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in vendor strategy and operations, either in vendor management (e.g., client-side) or vendor delivery (e.g., supplier-side).

Nice to have

  • Experience in executing operational initiatives within a global team.
  • Experience in technologies, such as leveraging GenAI tools in your day-to-day, to enhance the quality, effectiveness and creativity of your deliverables.
  • Experience with GCP or other cloud offerings.
  • Practical experience leveraging emerging AI technologies (such as generative AI or advanced automation tools) to optimize business workflows, drive operational efficiency, and scale programs.
  • Ability to turn data to insight to action (e.g., SQL or BI tool-Looker).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
