Vercel is seeking a Commercial Vercel Development Representative (VDR) for their APAC Sales team to drive product adoption and company growth. This role involves building a pipeline of qualified business through outbound efforts, collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer success teams, and identifying high-potential companies for Vercel's platform. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or support role for a technical product, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for web development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and engage high-potential companies that could benefit from Vercel’s platform
  2. Research prospects and tailor outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders
  3. Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound opportunities through personalized outreach
  4. Partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and drive adoption in the Commercial segment
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
