Verification Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced ASIC verification engineer to verify the design and implementation of SoCs and CPUs. The role involves defining verification scope, developing verification infrastructure, and ensuring design correctness at cluster and full chip levels. Responsibilities include working with architects, RTL designers, and FPGA/emulation engineers, as well as involvement in post-silicon bring-up and debug. Experience with verification tools, System Verilog, UVM, System C, C/C++, and scripting languages is desirable, as is a strong understanding of CPU/SoC architecture and verification architecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define the verification scope, develop the verification infrastructure and verify the correctness of the design at cluster and full chip level across multiple projects.
  2. You will work alongside brilliant engineers on state of the art processor technologies and verification infra
  3. Work with architects, RTL designers, FPGA, emulation engineers to ensure that verification requirements are met for each project.
  4. You will be involved with post-silicon bring-up, verification and debug

Skills

Required

  • BS / MS with 2+ years of experience
  • Good debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability & desire to work as a team player are a must
  • Strong knowledge on basic concepts of CPU or SoC architecture and verification architecture

Nice to have

  • Exposure to verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB) desirable
  • System Verilog, UVM, System C. experience desirable
  • C/C++ programming, Perl/Python scripting language experience desirable
  • Experience with verification infrastructure of SoCs with embedded processors or CPU is desirable.
  • You have worked on various pieces of the verification pipeline breadthwise
  • In-depth understanding of Verification TB architecture.
  • Experience of collaborating with geographically diverse cross-functional teams
