What you'd actually do

  1. Handle inbound calls from pet parents, veterinary practices, pharmacies, and vendors
  2. Schedule, reschedule, and manage wellness, sick, surgical, and urgent appointments
  3. Answer questions about services and assist with appointment-related needs
  4. Conduct follow-ups and outreach for prior medical requests and authorizations
  5. Research and resolve customer issues using active listening and problem-solving skills

Skills

Required

  • 1–3+ years of small animal veterinary or related industry experience
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, virtual call center environment
  • Comfort using multiple computer systems and navigating online resources
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check
