Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Vice President, AI Next Frontiers Strategy and Execution to define and lead the global AI strategy for their Innovative Medicine Commercial division. This role involves identifying use cases, scaling AI capabilities, operationalizing next-generation AI, and driving enterprise-level AI product development and deployment. The VP will also manage strategic budgets, influence senior leadership, chair the Worldwide AI Steering Committee, and foster external partnerships to ensure efficient, synergistic, and effective implementation of AI efforts across regions and functions, ultimately aiming to drive competitiveness and deliver breakthroughs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and lead the global AI Next Frontiers strategy, enterprise roadmap, and execution agenda for Innovative Medicine Commercial, including identification of high-value use cases, fit-for-purpose capabilities, and scalable deployment across therapeutic areas, functions, and regions.
  2. Influence senior leadership across GCSO, Worldwide and regional commercial organizations, medical affairs, and data, analytics, and AI functions to align on enterprise priorities, accelerate adoption, and embed AI into business strategy and decision-making.
  3. Shape cross-functional strategy and partnerships with R&D, technology, and enterprise data and AI leaders to enable differentiated capabilities, drive operating model alignment, and ensure execution against enterprise objectives.
  4. Own strategic investment cases and demonstrate business value and ROI for AI investments exceeding $20MM annually across GCSO and regional organizations.
  5. Set priorities and govern budget decisions for global AI external operating and capital expenditures, balancing enterprise value, scale, risk, and execution feasibility.
