This Vice President role focuses on AI Product Strategy and Intelligence within Controls Transformation at JPMorgan Chase. The role involves driving structured product strategy and end-to-end delivery for AI-enabled controls capabilities, shifting from fragmented processes to integrated, data-driven decisioning. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the translation of CAT strategy into structured, executable problem statements, requirements, and delivery plans across different platforms.
  2. Drive consistency and rigor in how business logic, requirements, and decision frameworks are defined and implemented
  3. Own end-to-end delivery alignment across Product, Engineering, and Data teams, including backlog prioritization, dependency management, and trade-off decisions
  4. Partner with stakeholders to shape scalable, AI-enabled product capabilities embedded within the user experience
  5. Drive cross-product alignment to ensure cohesive outcomes across the CAT ecosystem

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in product strategy, data driven business analysis, or delivery within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of controls, risk management, and data governance, including data quality, lineage, metadata, and controls over data
  • Proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems into clear strategies, requirements, and execution plans, with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated experience owning delivery across product, engineering, and data teams, including backlog prioritization, dependency management, and Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Advanced analytical capability, including defining metrics, dashboards, and management information (MI) to support executive decision-making
  • Proven ability to translate analytics into business insight, including executive reporting and governance pack development (Excel, PowerPoint; exposure to Power BI/Tableau)
  • Experience working with data tools such as SQL and Alteryx to support analysis and solution design
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively with partners, including governance forums and steering committees
  • Ability to operate independently in a high-ambiguity environment, setting direction as well as executing

Nice to have

  • Experience working with AI-enabled or data-driven products, including familiarity with prompt engineering and prompt patterns for evaluation workflows
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics and reporting
  • Background in Risk and Controls
