Visa is seeking a Vice President of Dispute Processing to lead a development organization responsible for their global dispute management system, Visa Resolve Online (VROL). This role involves leading 100+ engineers, managing multi-year product roadmaps, ensuring platform availability and security, overseeing a multi-million dollar budget, and driving the adoption of Generative AI across the SDLC and into core product offerings. The position requires strong leadership, technical experience in managing large software development teams, and experience with complex, large-scale projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leadership of 100+ engineers and leaders in Foster City, CA, Austin, TX, Singapore and Poland.
  2. Delivery of multi‑year product roadmaps, balancing innovation, reliability, and regulatory requirements
  3. Platform availability, security, and operational excellence, meeting or exceeding four‑nines reliability standards
  4. Ensure seamless and coordinated agile processes and practices are in place across all development locations, driving the highest quality deliverables.
  5. Manage a multi-million-dollar operating budget and a 40 - 60 Million USD portfolio of projects annually.

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated leadership and technical experience
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Directly managed software development and engineering teams of 40 or more
  • Significant experience managing remote/offshore development teams
  • Budget responsibility in the 10 - 15 Million USD range
  • Established and maintained key relationships and experiences with large third-party vendors
  • Successfully managed initiatives with vendor participation to successful completion
  • Experiences with vendor service level agreements (SLAs), delivery, customer satisfaction, performance metrics/scorecards for complex large-scale projects
