Visa is seeking a Vice President of Global Data & Analytics to lead teams in defining and delivering data, analytics, and AI strategies across various business units. This role will focus on driving innovation through Gen/Agentic AI, enabling informed decision-making, and optimizing business operations, aiming to make Visa an AI-first payments company.

What you'd actually do

  1. In close partnership with respective business unit leaders, define and deliver the overall Data, Analytics and AI strategy, organization and roadmap for each business unit.
  2. As a D&A General Manager to each respective business unit, work with partners across the GDO and Tech to deliver high impact analytical decision-making and optimization tools, (Gen and Agentic AI) innovations and help define the data and analytical foundation for Visa to be the most data-driven and AI-first payments company.
  3. Internal thought-leader across all the various data science and D&A teams across Visa. Build a community of interest, with standardized best practices and innovative tools/salutations that drive predacity and unleash the creativity of our D&A community.
  4. Drive innovative business application of data and (Gen and Agentic) AI to solve business problems as a key source of Visa value-add for clients and internal value delivery
  5. Attract, develop and retain a high-performing team of full-time employees specialized in analytics, data science and AI/ML across multiple global locations

Skills

Required

  • Deep technical (Gen and Agentic) AI and ML expertise
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling business intelligence solutions, analytical decision-making and optimization tools, valuations / customer-life cycle tools.
  • Deep understanding of concepts of working with and profitably utilizing big data in financial institutions and payments.
  • Exceptional team management and leadership skills that excel in dynamic and global workplace.
  • Proven record to drive effective organizational change and culture change.
