Investment Banker at Bank of America responsible for originating and executing investment banking transactions, including M&A and capital markets, for middle market and emerging growth clients. What you'd actually do

  1. Support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for middle market and emerging growth clients, types of transactions include buy and sell-side M&A, private capital raises as well as capital markets processes, including debt and equity offerings.
  2. Prepare materials for clients and participating in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution.
  3. Lead due diligence processes for investment banking transactions across products.
  4. Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
  5. Attend and oversee client meetings with prospective buyers in sell-side M&A processes, including management presentations and due diligence.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation
  • Executing investment banking transactions (M&A and capital markets)
  • Preparing detailed financial and valuation analyses
  • Conducting due diligence
  • Preparing client materials and presentations
  • Leading teams of junior investment bankers

  • Must include 5 years of experience in: Executing investment banking transactions, including both M&A and capital markets, in a global / bulge bracket investment bank environment; Preparing a variety of detailed financial and valuation analyses, including levered buyouts, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, liquidity, merger, comparative company, precedent transaction and sum of parts analysis; Conducting due diligence in connection with investment banking transactions, including business, financial, legal, and audit matters; Preparing materials for clients, including presentations, financial models, and offering documents as well as participating in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution; and, Leading teams of junior investment bankers to execute transactions, prepare client materials, and manage transaction processes.
