Okta is seeking a VP of Product Management for Identity Management, focusing on Okta Identity Governance (OIG) and Okta Privileged Access (OPA). The role involves defining product strategy, leading a team of product managers, and collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. The position requires deep experience in IAM, specifically IGA and PAM, and the ability to understand market trends, customer needs, and technical aspects like AI/ML-driven automation within the context of securing AI and human identities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute the multi-year product strategy for OIG and OPA.
  2. Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of Product Managers.
  3. Work hand-in-hand with Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive enterprise-grade products.
  4. Spend time with Fortune 500 CISOs, IT leaders, and industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) to deeply understand market trends, regulatory compliance needs, and customer pain points.
  5. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, pricing, packaging, and enablement that accelerate pipeline and adoption.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS
  • at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP) managing multi-product portfolios
  • Proven track record of scaling enterprise software products from early traction to $100M+ in ARR
  • Ability to converse deeply with engineers about cloud architecture, APIs, zero-trust security frameworks, and AI/ML-driven automation
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex, ambiguous market dynamics into a clear, actionable product roadmap
  • A masterful storyteller who can inspire internal teams, command the room with executive stakeholders, and build trust with enterprise customers
