This role focuses on shaping financial and technology policy across the Asia Pacific region, with a specific emphasis on digital assets, artificial intelligence governance, data, and broader fintech. The Vice President will monitor regulatory developments, analyze their business implications, develop advocacy strategies, and engage with policymakers and industry groups. The position requires a strong understanding of financial services regulation in East Asia markets and excellent analytical and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Monitor and synthesize regulatory policy developments across Asia Pacific and relevant international standard setters, identifying trends and impacts.
  2. Produce timely, clear analyses of policy changes with practical business implications and options for action.
  3. Develop positions and advocacy strategies on proposed regulations; lead engagement with policymakers, regulators, and trade associations to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Coordinate with regional partners to ensure consistent interpretation and execution across businesses and legal entities.
  5. Represent firm views in discussions with regulators, legislators, and external stakeholders.
