Vice President, Sales Executive - Ibm Commerical Solutions

This is a sales executive role focused on selling IBM solutions within the private sector for Deloitte Consulting LLP. The role involves business development, account management, pipeline origination, and influencing decision-makers at high levels within client organizations. It requires a strong track record in sales, experience with complex client pursuits, and knowledge of IBM enterprise software solutions. The role is not directly involved in building or shipping AI/ML models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Creating awareness, building relationships with key executives, and developing/pursuing leads
  2. Supporting direct marketing campaigns - including following up on tele-marketing efforts
  3. Pipeline Origination
  4. Assisting consultants to qualify and win opportunities
  5. Creating strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close a range of revenue projects

Skills

Required

  • Successful track record of sales, selling software solutions within the commercial space
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience managing complex client pursuits
  • Experience selling high-end, project-based, professional consulting services, characterized by long sales cycles and both large and small dollar transactions
  • Good knowledge of IBM enterprise software solutions in the marketplace
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
