Vice President, Strategic Sales - East (remote)

This is a Vice President of Strategic Sales role for CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company that uses an AI-native platform. The role focuses on leading a sales team, driving sales strategy, and achieving company sales targets within the East Region. It requires extensive sales leadership experience, knowledge of cybersecurity and SaaS products, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide management oversight to your team within the Region to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
  2. Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
  3. Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your Region.
  4. Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution.
  5. Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with objectives.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in leading/managing senior sales teams with a complex product and solution sales approach.
  • Ability to sell in direct touch approach and via the channel.
  • Proven track records in working with multimillion-dollar targets.
  • Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle and working at C-Level.
  • Second-line management experience essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Passionate relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including the Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Experience in leading multiple teams in various locations with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Demonstrating experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Ability to work remotely and able and willing to travel.

Nice to have

  • Background in selling Security or SaaS products is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus.
  • Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
