Job Description
Responsible for creating a comprehensive total loss evaluation for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. Responsible for creating comprehensive estimates of damage as needed.
This role is a remote opportunity in the Eastern United States for virtual total loss appraisal.
We are seeking a Virtual Total Loss Estimator/Evaluator to join our team! This role is ideal for candidates residing in the EST time zone with prior total loss estimating experience in an insurance carrier environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software and be comfortable performing evaluations in a fully virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of various options and packages on private passenger automobiles.
- Demonstrates the ability to apply the proper condition rating through standard guidelines and the CCC1 conditioning matrices.
- Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses.
- Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
- Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Processes a basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.
As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:
Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $37.50/hour
Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $39.42/hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
