Senior Brand Manager responsible for Brand & P&L management for the Specialty category within Vision Care. This role involves leading business strategy, execution plans, demand generation, new product launches, and brand equity building. The manager will partner with global teams, shape innovation ideas, manage product portfolios, and ensure KPI attainment. The role also includes team building and talent development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Specialty category’s business strategy and execution plans to reach company’s goals, by orchestrating close collaboration of key stakeholders.
  2. Lead and implementing comprehensive Specialty category marketing strategy that includes demand generation, new product launch. Accountable for end-to-end holistic Specialty brand experience & execution considering consumer, customer, professional and other required stakeholders in line with company business and master brand strategy.
  3. Partner closely with global team as No.1 potential market to shape global Specialty strategy together
  4. Lead ACUVUE® brands equity building in the Specialty category as a brand guardian.
  5. Responsible to take a lead on team building and talent development for internal members.

Skills

Required

  • More than 3 years experience in the category/consumer/ brand marketing area. Lead role in marketing including new product launch
  • More than 3 year experience working in Cross-functional. Team lead experience of such diversed teams is a plus
  • BA/BS degree (or higher) required.
  • A strong influencer to lead a diverse group of internal and external team members and stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Comprehensive understanding of the upstream to downstream brand marketing across value chain, not limited to ATL and BTL communication message and materials but ranges such as packaging, pricing and channel strategy, sales engagement
  • Deep Knowledge in Japan market is required.
  • Have an openness to continually drive productive change through agile course correction with an ability to see the big picture, think ahead to define new approaches and take appropriate risks.
  • Pro-active problem-solving abilities required.
  • Powerful verbal and written communication skills are required including the ability to develop and present to Global and Japan Senior leadership (i.e., PowerPoint, in-person, email)
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines, budgets, and project resources with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment required
  • Fluent English in writing, verbal communication and presentation enough to shape global agenda, get credibility and attain global support

Nice to have

  • Experience working with R&D regarding new innovation and/or taking a brand champion role in HQ is a plus
  • MBA is a plus
  • Team lead experience of such diversed teams is a plus
