Visual Merchandising & Store Experience Manager

Manage visual merchandising and in-store marketing strategies for Target stores, focusing on product presentation and driving business through holistic in-store experience strategies. Develop floor pad architecture and messaging, create briefs for creative partners, and evaluate concepts against strategic objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to execute presentation concepts and omnichannel strategies, ensuring brand standards and managing budgets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support guest-led, holistic in-store experience strategies, inclusive of visual merchandising and in-store marketing of product to drive the business for all cycles.
  2. Develop the floor pad architecture and messaging strategy.
  3. Write clear and actionable detailed deliverable briefs highlighting messaging hierarchy, photography needs and signage placement and kick off the detailed concept work with creative partners.
  4. Be responsible for evaluating the concepts against the strategic objectives and preparing for leader alignment reviews which could include physical build out in our mock store or via digital presentations.
  5. Partner cross-functionally with Merchants, Planning, Product Design, SPT, RBX Partners, Creative, GMS, Site Merch & Store Ops to execute holistic presentation concepts & omnichannel strategies for each transition based on the cycle brief.

Skills

Required

  • Four-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years relevant visual merchandising and/or marketing experience
  • Experience authoring successful creative briefs
  • Strong sense of composition and design detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complexity amidst ambiguity
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
